Signature Policies
Affordability — In 2025, Gisler ran on an populist platform that included expanding Medicaid, reducing healthcare insurance costs, affordable housing and raising the minimum wage.
Investing in education and infrastructure instead of tax cuts — Gisler believes that improving educational performance and maintaining Georgia’s infrastructure is more important than continued income tax cuts. When the priorities of investment and tax relief come into conflict, he focuses on the former.
Town halls — Gisler has held regular town hall meetings for his constituents, unlike his predecessor. He held his first town hall meeting on January 10, 2026 and another shortly after on February 28.
