Election Results

Farnham received 14% of the vote, losing to Commissioner Carol Myers.

Signature Issues

Creating an Ethical Athens – Farnham’s primary goal is fighting poverty and reducing inequality by encouraging ethical leadership. She wants to keep money circulating locally by promoting local business and supporting living wages.

Prisoners Keeping the Right to Vote – Farnham has been an advocate for prisoners keeping their right to vote, and also that a candidate debate should be held at the jail. However, such a debate would apparently not be allowed by Sheriff Edwards due to security concerns.

Experience

Farnham completed the Citizen’s Government Academy program put on by the Athens-Clarke County local government.

Interviews

Farnham was also on Tim Bryant’s radio show talking about her candidacy on June 20, 2019:

Controversy

Farnham has an aggressive online presence, being relentlessly critical, even disparaging, of white people, particularly women.
