Fighting Discrimination — Johnson has been an advocate against discrimination, starting with downtown bars, but has also spoken out in favor of more comprehensive civil rights legislation.
Support for the Arts — On his website, Johnson says, “Expanding our music and artistic culture can only be a benefit to Athens-Clarke. It will help drive economic growth for our entire community.”
