The Athens-Clarke County Democrats held a debate for ACC Commission candidates in districts 1, 3 and 9 on April 10, 2026. It was held at the Marigold Auditorium in Winterville, GA.
Commissioners Patrick Davenport and Ovita Thornton, as well as challengers Terry Johnson, Tammie Foote, Tracy Smith and Barry Irwin were in attendance. Commissioner Tiffany Taylor could not attend but made an appearance over video.
