“Hatching Hope” — Hatcher’s focus is to create a fairer economic system that works for everyone. She wants to raise corporate taxes, boost the minimum wage to $15 an hour, expand Medicare to include all Americans and make the child tax credit in Biden’s American Rescue Plan permanent.

Criminal Justice Reform — Hatcher wants to pass the “George Floyd Act” to retrain police and prosecutors, reform the cash bail, close for-profit prisons, decriminalize cannabis and devote more resources to in-prison rehabilitation.
