Signature Issues
Economic Opportunity for Athenians — Hull’s platform focuses squarely on fighting poverty and providing pathways for economic mobility. He supports jobs training, affordable childcare and expanding access to social services. He states that he would direct prosperity package dollars towards “youth skill development, mental health support, and affordable and workforce housing.”
Youth Development and Enrichment — Hull supports “access to affordable childcare, afterschool programs, reestablishing the facilitation and funding of community sports and enrichment programs” as a way to help end the school to prison pipeline and address Athens’ extremely high poverty rate.
Experience
Hull runs a law firm with his wife specializing in family law, probate, estate planning and mediation services. He has served on the Whit Davis School PTO, is serving on the board of Chess & Community, and is the steering comttee chair for the Athens MLK Jr. Day of Service. He ran unsuccessfully for the ACC Board of Education in 2016.
